ABOUT
Australian Iranian Council Inc. is a vibrant, volunteer-led community organisation proudly serving the Iranian diaspora in Australia and beyond.
Founded by passionate Iranian Australians, we are dedicated to two intertwined missions: championing a free, secular, and democratic future for Iran, and enriching Australian society through the celebration of our shared Persian heritage.
Through political advocacy, we amplify the voices of the Iranian people seeking liberation from tyranny and work alongside Australian institutions to improve life for all residents, including our growing Iranian community. Culturally, we promote the timeless richness of Persian arts, language, history, and traditionsو building bridges of understanding between Iran and Australia, especially envisioning stronger ties once a democratic Iran emerges.
We actively expand our network through social media, media partnerships, engagement with politicians, universities, and community events.
Internationally, we collaborate with aligned activists and groups worldwide, maintaining close contact with HRH Reza Pahlavi and his team as part of our shared commitment to a peaceful, democratic transition.
Everything we do is powered by volunteers. We fund our activities through community donations, government grants (where eligible), sponsorships, and merchandise sales, ensuring transparency and dedication to our not-for-profit mission.
